STUDYING ONLINE
REFUNDS
SCHEDULING 1-ON-1 CLASSES
Sessions must be scheduled with at least 24 hours of notice. Lessons are only taught on Zoom.
After buying a package, you can schedule your classes by clicking the NAME of your package on the Calendar.
REGISTERING FOR GROUP CLASSES
Lessons are only taught on Zoom. Learners MUST create an account on CertaLingual before registering for a group class. Some group lessons cost money and some are FREE. Registration will close 2 hours before the start of the session.
NOTE: You must provide your email address in order to receive the Zoom link and the password.
REQUIREMENTS
You will need:
•reliable internet
•a computer, laptop, tablet, or Smartphone
•a functioning microphone and camera
•a Zoom account
•a quiet room
Learners must:
•be 16 or older to participate
•be willing to participate in (group) activities
•provide an email address so that you can receive the link (and password) to the virtual classroom.
NOTE: ALL GROUP LESSONS ARE RECORDED and may be edited and posted online for others to view.
The 1-on-1 lessons are NOT recorded, unless we discuss it in advance.
BAD INTERNET CONNECTION/ ELECTRICAL OUTAGE
1-on-1 learners: If you are not able to fix your internet/ electrical problem within 15 minutes from the start of the class, your class will be rescheduled. CertaLingual only allows for 2 (two) lessons to be rescheduled due to internet/ electrical issues. If it happens 3 times, the class will be lost.
Group lessons: If you are having problems with your internet/ electricity, you can leave the classroom and reenter as many times as you need during the first 15 minutes. If the issue is not corrected within the first 15 minutes of the class, you will be removed from the session. However, you will have the option to attend another session (if there is one available) for no extra cost. If there isn't another session available to attend, your payment will be saved as a CertaLingual credit, which you can use for another group class.

CANCELING A CLASS
Standard 24-hour notice is required for cancellations made by learners. If the learner cancels with less than 24-hours notice, the class will be lost.
You will connect with your teacher on Zoom. You can download the FREE application to your computer, laptop, tablet or Smartphone here!
HOMEWORK
The homework will be available on your Portal Page, Google Drive, or Google Classroom. All learners MUST have access to a Google account.
If you do not use Gmail, you can use your PRIMARY email (Hotmail, Outlook, Yahoo!, QQ, etc.) and create a Google Drive account here.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Learners usually connect and interact using WhatsApp.
PAYING FOR CLASSES
We accept payments from credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal.
NOTE: Learners who are registering for group classes will receive the Zoom link and password in an email within 24 hours of paying.
